Office of Medical Education

The Office of Medical Education strives to create an outstanding learning environment. Our medical student curriculum is comprised of six competencies that align with the core competencies of the graduate medical education programs. We provide services to faculty and students to enhance the curriculum and the learning experience, including standardized patient and clinical simulation programs.

The School of Medicine is transforming the way we educate medical students. New initiatives throughout the school are being implemented in accordance with the standards set forth by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) to better prepare students for residencies and their future careers in the field. Learn more about the results from our previous LCME accreditation review.
